Next week is SCA Crazy Week! Each day will bring something new and different.
Here is the schedule:
Monday: Crazy Socks Day
Students are to wear any kind of socks, the crazier the better. They may not wear them over their shoes or go without shoes, but they can pull their socks over their pants legs, or wear shorts or skirts with shorts underneath (girls). I heard that someone might even wear toe socks as gloves...
Tuesday: Crazy Hair Day
Mr. Ball has approved hair color change as long as it's temporary and washes out before the next day. NO Koolaid, it never comes out...lol Hair style gels and sprays, barrettes, ribbons, braids, etc are allowed as long as they don't interfere with PE.
Wednesday: Backwards Day
They wear their clothes backwards, walk backwards, and may eat dessert before their meal. You might reverse your lesson or your class schedule.You might read a sentence backwards and they'll need to figure out what was said. Try Pig Latin, some kids are good at it...
Thursday: Opposite Day
They might do the opposite of what is said, such as "sit" instead of "stand", "yes" instead of "no", "hello" instead of "goodbye". You might want to practice this one, or when you say to be quiet they will all start shouting.
Friday: Hat Day
Wear your favorite hat to school, as long as it doesn't interfere with learning and PE.
